 Joyful Learners Montessori House is a Family Day Care, registered under YMCA, and is a member of Family Day Care Australia. We operate 5 days a week from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. We are open 48 weeks of the year.

   Care is provided by a trained Montessori teacher with over 20 years experience in child care. Your educator has a Certificate III in Children’s services, holds a current certificate in First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis Management. Your educator also attends workshops and seminar for professional development regularly.

   Our activity room is filled with a whole range of Montessori materials that will stimulate and engage your child’s love of learning and discovery. The four main areas in our programme at JL Montessori House are Practical Life, Sensorial, Language and Mathematics.  We also place emphasis on Arts, Music, Science and Cultural Studies and Geography. Globes, maps, books, songs, collection of pictures of life and objects from different cultures and much more are offered with the aim of helping your child grow as an individual that appreciates the world around us.

   We also have an outdoor space for physical  activities that will develop your child’s gross motor skills. Balancing beam, crawling tunnel, hula hoops, climbing frames, bean bags and balls are some of the things that your child will enjoy playing. Your child will be able to grow vegetables and herbs, tend to our garden beds, build sand castles in our sand pit and participate in many more activities that will bring personal satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment to a young mind.

    JL Montessori House offers your child a warm, caring and beautiful learning environment, as well as provide the one-on-one attention they need.

Quotes from

Dr. Montessori

"Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed.”

“The things the child sees are not just remembered;

they form a part of his soul.”

“Education ... must take a new path, seeking the release of human potentials.”
